If you're planning to use IVY Mobile Medical Services for mobile specimen collection but do not already have a valid lab order, Unity Health can provide an independent clinical evaluation to determine whether laboratory testing is appropriate for you.

An evaluation built around your individual needs.
During your virtual appointment with Ashley Hall, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, you'll discuss your health history, current symptoms or health goals, medications, and the laboratory testing you're interested in.
Based on your individual clinical needs, Unity Health will independently determine whether laboratory testing is appropriate and which tests, if any, should be ordered.
Your $75 evaluation includes
- Virtual clinical evaluation with a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Review of relevant medical history, medications, symptoms, and testing goals
- Independent determination of clinically appropriate laboratory testing
- Laboratory order placement when medically appropriate
- Coordination of the collection workflow with IVY when IVY is selected for mobile specimen collection
- Clinician review and release of laboratory results when received
What Happens Next?
Your clinician determines what's appropriate
Laboratory testing is ordered based on your individual medical history and clinical needs. Scheduling an evaluation does not guarantee that every requested test will be ordered.
Choose your collection provider
If laboratory testing is ordered and you choose IVY, you will be directed to IVY to complete the mobile collection intake and scheduling process. You may also choose another appropriate laboratory collection option.
Receive your results
Unity Health will review and release results received from the laboratory. If a result requires prompt clinical attention, Unity Health will contact you as appropriate.
Have Questions About Your Results?
Your laboratory results and routine clinician review are included with your initial evaluation at no additional charge.
If you would like to discuss your results in detail, ask additional medical questions, review recommendations, or discuss next steps with a provider, you may schedule an optional Laboratory Results Follow-Up for $50.
If your results identify a finding that requires prompt clinical attention, Unity Health will contact you as appropriate.

Patients are not required to use IVY for specimen collection and may select another appropriate collection provider. IVY's mobile collection services and associated fees are separate from Unity Health's clinical evaluation fee.
